Sometimes, due to system updates or anti-virus software to clean up the junk plug-in, etc., it may cause the companion server to fail to connect.
The solution is as follows:
1. Right click on computer selection management
2. Open the service option and find SolidWorks Electrical Collaborative Server
3. Right click to start the service
4. Double-click the service and set the startup type to automatic, OK
5. Complete the setup and restart SWE
